Ramen Oracle Bowl — Mira Okonkwo-Vance
Treat the ramen bowl as an amulet: white single-weight hand-tremored lines on a dark garment feel like carved marks. Use scratched, etched linework and accumulated hatch rather than filled shapes. Layer halftone grain, photocopy degradation and risograph texture; allow ink bleeds and registration misalignments to read as age. Compose symmetrically but break the axis with one off-center noodle curl or a slightly tilted chopstick to keep it human. Limit separations to 2–3 muted inks (faded indigo, dusty coral, sea-glass green) printed as worn halftones so the tee fabric shows through; if printing constraints demand, the design also reads strongly in stark white linework on deep black. Keep the mark compact, heart-scale, generous negative space, and tactile — a found nocturnal relic rather than a loud logo.
